Picket Fence Studios & WOW! Embossing Powder Blog Hop Collaboration + GIVEAWAYS

Let’s shine! For both cards I had a blast playing with my watercolors and creating these backgrounds. For my first card, I used black, gray, a bit of yellow and paprika colors. I also splattered the same colors all over the panel.

Once my panel was dry, I placed the Floral Damask Stencil on top of it and applied Marigold Orange Paper Glaze randomly using an stencil pad just to add more texture. Then, I diluted a bit of Daffodil Yellow Paper Glaze in water and added some splatters. A white card base was glued at the back.

I stamped the flowers from the Poppy Blossoms Stamp using WOW! Embossing Pad and then heat embossed them with WOW! Silver Embossing Powder. The poppies and flowers were colored with Copic markers. I simply love the contrast of colors with the silver embossing. I die cut the images and they were added to my background using glue and foam tape.

I stamped my sentiment from the Early Tulip Bouquet Stamp Set on black cardstock using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it with WOW! Silver Embossing Powder. I added it to my panel, put some Nuvo drops in the flowers and a few embellishments as the final touch.

On my second card I also used black, gray, a bit of yellow and paprika watercolors and splattered those colors all over the panel. Once my panel was dry I adhered a white card base at the back.

Then, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Poppy Blossoms Stamp using WOW! Embossing Pad and then heat embossed them with WOW! Silver Embossing Powder. I used my Copic markers to color. I die cut the images and I placed them on top of the watercolor panel.

I created the same texture with the stencil and Marigold Orange Paper Glaze plus I added some splatters of Daffodil Yellow Paper Glaze diluted in water all over the panel.

Finally, I die cut the Hello Word Die out of white and black cardstock. The white one was heat embossed using WOW! White Twinkle Embossing Glitter and additionally I heat embossed three time on top using WOW! Clear Gloss Embossing Powder for a more dimensional and glossy look. I added the black die cut at the back as a shadow and placed it on the card and this card was finished. I really hope you enjoy this blog hop and don’t forget to come back tomorrow for more inspiration. Below you will find the blog hop line up. Have a fabulous day!
