Happy Birthday floral Card

I was so happy and honored to be asked to make a birthday card for someone who’s having a very special day today. Happy Birthday Taniesa!!! Wishing you all the best and an amazing day.

For this birthday card, I’m using the Hopefully Flowers Stamp from Trinity Stamps. Since I bought it, I wanted to make a card with lots of these flowers stamped and now it was the perfect opportunity.

To begin this card, I stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink over Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb and clear heat embossed, with Hero Arts Clear embossing Powder. I had to repeat this step several times until I covered the whole card. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Greetings Stamp by Studio Katia.

After that, I started coloring the flowers and the background with Copic Sketch markers. I used to following colors: YG13, YG11, G20, R17, YR68 and Y35.

When I was done with the coloring, I put a rectangular die in the center of my card and run it through my Sizzix BigKick machine. In addition, I cut another rectangle, slightly bigger, from a cardstock that matched the colors of the flowers and glued it under my first rectangle.

Finally, I added some foam tape to back of the glued rectangles and placed it on the center of my card. I finished this card, by adding some Lucy’s jewels as embellishments to the card and getting an envelope with a matching color.

Hope you like this card and thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!
