Hello Sunshine Collection from Catherine Pooler in Collaboration with Scrapbook

Hello friends! I’m so happy to be participating in this collaboration with Scrapbook.com and Catherine Pooler.

The Hello Sunshine Collection from Catherine Pooler is now available at the Scrapbook.com shop! YAY!!!

The products from Catherine Pooler Designs I used are I Scream, You Scream Stamps and Die, Punctuated Party Stamp, Celebrate Die, Summertime Patterned Paper Pack, Charleston Sequin Mix, Midnight Ink Pad, Mint to Be Ink Pad, Melon Ice Ink Pad, It’s  A Boy Ink Pad and Be Mine Ink Pad.

Let’s begin! For my first project I created a Bridge Card. I cut a 4 1/4″ x 8″ piece of cardstock and score at 1 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ from both ends. Then, I glued on top one of the Summertime patterned papers. Then, I created the bridge which measured 5 1/2″ wide and stamped on top one of the images from the Punctuated Party Stamp and white heat-embossed.

Next, I cut a piece of patterned paper to create a smaller bridge that goes inside the card adding more dimension. This piece measures 3 1/2″ wide and was scored at 1/4″ x 1/4″ from each end.

I glued this smaller bridge to the inside of the card and additionally I attached to it the sentiment stamped using Catherine Pooler Designs Be Mine Ink Pad.

I stamped the images from Catherine Pooler I Scream, You Scream Stamp onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, colored them using Copic markers and using the coordinating dies I die cut them.

Before adding the bridge on the front, I adhered a piece of acetate to the back, large enough to glue on top all my images.

Finally, I placed the frontal bridge with all the images and some stars that I die cut using Catherine Pooler I Scream, You Scream Dies and a small card base at the back to write your message.

My next project is a shaker card that I created by stamping the Punctuated Party Stamp using Melon Ice Ink Pad, Mint to Be and It’s a Boy Ink Pads onto a white piece of cardstock.

Then, I adhered this panel to a white card base using glue. I also die cut 4 rectangular frames and the last one was out of one sheet of of Summertime patterned paper.

I created the shaker pocket and added Catherine Pooler Designs Charleston Sequin Mix inside and closed the shaker pocket.

Finally, I applied Melon Ice Ink Pad to a piece of white cardstock and then die cut the Catherine Pooler Designs Celebrate Die and placed it on top of the acetate.

On my last project I created a fused shaker card using a photo protector. I just loved how this turned out! Using the We R Memories Fuse Tool I made a shaker pocket sealing 3 edges and reserved.

Then, on a white panel I die cut some borders to create the shaker pocket and also I stamped the sentiment using Melon Ice Ink Pad.

Next, I adhered the fused shaker pocket reserved at the back of this white panel using double sided tape. Additionally, I added double sided foam squares and placed it on top of a white card base.

Finally, I added a stripe of patterned paper, the Ice Cream truck and some Wink of Stella.

These were my cards for today and I really hope you get lots of inspiration. The Catherine Pooler Designs Hello Sunshine Collection is just fabulous! And you can find at Scrapbook.com

Have an amazing and sweet day friends!

Picket Fence Studios July Release is here!

Hello sweet friends! The July release for Picket Fence Studios is here!!! We have amazing stamps and stencils, more foiling dies and our new background die! For today’s cards I have used the Aeonium African Succulent Foiling and Cutting Die and the Merci Foiling Die.

Let’s start! My first card is an Interlocking Gatefold Card and I cut a piece of white cardstock 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ and scored from each end at 2 1/8″ and folded together.

To create the succulent, I placed a piece of GoPress and Foil Iridescent Triangular Pattern Goil Foil on top of the Aeonium African Succulent Foiling Die and a teal cardstock on top. Put them on my Gemini Foilpress machine and then inside my Gemini Junior Die Cutting machine. The results were amazing! I reserved the negative part of the succulent for my next project.

Next, to create the gold circle frame that goes in front of the card, I used two largest circle dies, taped them together and cut them out of white cardstock three times. I glued them one on top of each other. I also, applied to it WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed it using WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder.

Then, I glued the gold frame to the left flap and the succulent to the right flap. Additionally, I added the word thank you from Picket Fence Studios Small Ways to Say Thank You Stamp.

Finally, I die cut a circle and added it to the inside of the card to write the message. I applied some ink on top of the Picket Fence Studios Hearts of Flowers Stencil, just to add a bit more of interest.

For my next card, I placed a piece of Gold Gemini Foilpress on top of the Merci Foiling Die and a white cardstock on top. Put them on my Gemini Foilpress machine and then inside my Gemini Junior Die Cutting machine.

Then, I die cut this white panel using the Aeonium African Succulent Cutting Die. Added foam tape at the back and adhered it to a Gina K Designs Peach Bellini cardstock and then to a white card base.

Next, I put the negative part of the succulent that I reserved. Finally, I stamped 3 stripes with sentiments using WOW Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder and added a few jewels.

Hope you like my cards for today. This new release is seriously amazing! Go check it out at Picket Fence Studios website and have a marvelous Sunday!
