Let’s shine! For this awesome blog hop I have created two Christmas cards featuring the WOW! Trios Toteally Amazing, Deck The Halls and Cranberry Sparkles.

I started by applying black ink to the edges of a green A2 panel using a Life Changing Blender Brush. Then, with the help of my MISTI I stamped the Winterberry Background Cling Stamp by Pinkfresh Studio. I used WOW! Embossing Pad to stamp and WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder to heat emboss.

I painted the image in the background using Gansai Tambi starry watercolors by Zik Kuretake. Once it was dry I adhered a white folded note card at the back using glue.

Next, I stamped two pieces of cardstock using WOW! embossing Pad, one was heat embossed with WOW! Deck The Halls Embossing Glitter and the second piece with WOW! Cranberry Sparkles Embossing Glitter. Then, I die cut the word MERRY using Pinkfresh Studio Lea’s Ornate Lowercase Die Set out of the two pieces that I just heat embossed.

I placed the die cut letters on top of the panel using glue and finally I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment CHRISTMAS from Taylored Expressions using WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder on white cardstock. As a final touch I added Stickles to the berries and this card was done.

For my second card I applied Distress Oxide inks to an A2 panel: Black Soot, Pine Needles and Lucky Clover using a Life Changing Blender Brush. Once it was dry I adhered a white folded note card at the back using glue.

Additionally, I added some splashes of white ink on top to give the panel a more snowy look.

I created the snowflakes die cutting the Pinkfresh Studio Layered Snowflakes Die Set. I heat embossed the snowflakes with WOW! Trio Toteally Amazing Embossing Glitter and this set includes the following colors: The Real Teal, Gilded and Iced Teal.

Also, I die cut some shadow dies out of vellum and layered different shapes together to get more dimension. Next, I arranged all snowflakes on top of the background using. I added some sequins to all snowflakes too. Here you can have a closer look at all the shine! It’s really amazing in person.

Finally, I die cut the word JOY using again Lea’s Ornate Lowercase Die Set. I heat embossed these letters using WOW! Cranberry Sparkles Embossing Glitter and placed them on top of the snowflakes. The outline part was put a bit out of place just for fun. Lastly, I added white Nuvo drops around and this card was finished.
