Picket Fence is giving away a $50 gift certificate to their store.

Let’s shine! For my first card, I created a shaker using We R Memories Keepers Fuse Tool. I started by applying Distress Oxide inks to a white panel. I sprayed water and used paper towel to get rid of the excess and I let it dry.

Once it was dried, I placed the Fish Scales Stencil on top and applied Ranger Texture Paste. I removed the stencil and added a mixed of WOW! Aventurine Embossing Glitter and WOW! Jade Sparkles Glitter. I let it dry overnight.

Next, I placed the panel inside a photo sleeve. Using the fuse tool I closed two edges and added diferente sequins and beads. Then, I was able to close the last edge.

I stamped all my images onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80 lbs. using VersaFine Onyx Black and heat embossed them with WOW! Embossing Pad. Then, I colored using Copic markers and die cut using the matching dies.

I arranged all the images in top of the shaker using glue. Finally, I added the sentiment and glitter accents to the mermaid and the seahorses.

These are the Copic markers I used for the mermaid cards.

For my second card, I use Hero Arts Acetate Folded Cards and on the inside I adhered another Distress Oxide inked panel.

On this panel I had used The Ocean Of Fish Stencil with Ranger Texture Paste and a mixed of WOW! Aventurine Embossing Glitter and WOW! Jade Sparkles Glitter.

I cut a piece of white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders Die and colored with Copic markers to create the bottom of the sea.

Above you can see the colors I used to create the bottom of the sea.

Next, I stamped all my images onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80 lbs. using VersaFine Onyx Black and heat embossed them with WOW! Embossing Pad. Then, I colored using Copic markers and die cut using the matching dies.

Additionally, I stamped some fishes directly on the front acetate using Stazon Jet Black Ink Pad and added glitter to the mermaid and seahorses.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum and heat embossed it using WOW! Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder and adhered to the card.

For the last two cards, I have a video tutorial on YouTube, please click here to watch it and don’t forget to give it a thumbs up and SUBSCRIBE!

  2. Your cards are amazing. I especially love those mermaids. My eight year old granddaughter wants to be a mermaid, and she would love that first one.

  3. Your cards are SO pretty! It looks like the way you made your shaker card keeps the shaker elements spread out over the card instead of having them all drop to the bottom of the card, is this correct? Great if it works that way, I’m loving these!

    1. Thanks a bunch darling! And yes! this shaker was created using a photo sleeve and a fuse tool that way I was able to let all the elements on the inside move around the entire panel. I thought it was fun to make this design! And you can add some ribbon and even use it as a bookmark. I’ll be making one for my mom and I hope to make a video! 🤩😍
