Stamping Friends Trifecta Hop & Giveaway

Hello happy crafters! Today I’m excited to be participating at this Three Way Swap Gina K Designs, My Sweet Petunia and Picket Fence Studios. Amazing companies right? Gina K Designs has gorgeous stamps and dies plus fabulous inks and cardstock to work with. I have to confess that my MISTI is the only supply that is permanently on my crafty desk and since I have it, I can no longer stamp without it. It’s extraordinary! Thanks a bunch My Sweet Petunia! For this blog hop, I have made two cards using Gina K Designs products and two more with Picket Fence Studios stamp and dies.

PRIZES

We’re also having a great giveaway! Each company will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to their stores, a total of 3 gift cards so leave a comment on each blog and winners will be randomly chosen. Winners will be announced on the company blogs no later than June 7th. Good luck happy crafter!

Let’s begin! For my first card using Gina K Designs, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Elegant Asters Stamp on white cardstock using Picket Fence Studios Black Hybrid Ink and heat embossed them with WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder. Then, I colored every flower and leaf using Copic markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next, I die cut Gina K Designs Pure Luxury Wild Dandelion cardstock using the Elegant Oval Die, also from Gina K Design and I stamped the sentiment on top with Picket Fence Studios Black Hybrid Ink and heat embossed it using WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder.

I added this oval to an A2 white panel using double sided tape. I also trimmed down a little bit the edges and adhered this panel to a black card base.

Finally, I arranged the flowers and leaves on top of my background using Gina K Design Connect Glue and foam tape for some dimension. Additionally, I added a few Studio Katia Clear Drops Mix Two as a final touch.

For this card, I stamped the images on watercolor paper using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed them with WOW! Metallic Gold Embossing Powder. I colored this panel with Zig Clean Colors Real Brushes Markers.

Once I finished coloring, I die cut twice this panel using a border die. I adhered these pieces to a white card base using Gina K Design foam tape. Additionally, I stamped a butterfly onto vellum and heat embossed it with WOW! Fairy Tale Embossing Glitter and added it to my background.

Also, I die cut the Wishes Word Die using black cardstock and heat embossed it with WOW! Clear Gloss Embossing Powder. Finally, I added the sentiment and some jewels from Studio Katia around.

For my cards using Picket Fence Studios, I stamped the Poppy Blossoms onto Arche Watercolor Paper using WOW! Embossing Pad and heat embossed them with WOW!Metallic Gold embossing powder.

I colored all the images using Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set. Once they were dried, I died cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the first card, I added gold thread to a black panel, arranged the flowers and leaves on top using glue and foam tape, added the sentiment and finally Tonic Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops and some sequins.

For the second card, I arranged the florals on top of a white panel using Gina K Designs Connect Glue and foam tape.

Finally, I added the sentiments and some pearls and it was ready. I truly love how this card turned out.

These were my cards for this fabulous Stamping Friends Trifecta Hop. I really hope you like these cards and get some inspiration. Thanks to Picket Fence Studios, Gina K Design and My Sweet Petunia for their amazing products! Have a great day!

  1. Lovely cards. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the gold embossing with all those colors, and I liked how you embossed the butterfly on vellum. I will try to remember that technique for future cards. Thanks for sharing.
